Every task is a spinning plate with a deadline. You choose its importance when you create it, and that importance sets the plate's colour so your biggest priorities are always visible. Complete the task and tap Done to clear the plate — with a satisfying sound to match.
The plate smashes! You'll see it broken on your board (and hear it). From there you can either clear it away, or re-spin it with a fresh deadline and have another go at it.
Tap the microphone button and say something like "Add plate, dentist, March 15th" — or use a weekday, like "Add plate, wash car, Tuesday", which sets the deadline to the next Tuesday. The app confirms with a beep when it's listening.
First check that notifications are allowed for 9 Plates in your phone's Settings. Each plate has its own reminder timing (Same day, 1, 2, 3 days or 1 week before the deadline) which you can change with the Edit button on the plate. You can also send yourself a test notification from Settings inside the app.
The upgrade unlocks up to 9 long-term Life Goals with visual plate-stack progress tracking, personal rewards and a permanent Trophy Room, plus Projects — up to 9 separate plate-stack tabs for work, personal life and side hustles — an extended 18-plates-per-screen layout, daily motivational boosts and priority support.
Subscriptions are managed by your app store, not by us. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → 9 Plates → Cancel. On Android: Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → 9 Plates → Cancel. You'll keep access until the end of the paid period.
You can delete your account directly in the app: go to Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and permanent — it removes your profile, plates, goals and all associated data from our servers. If you'd rather we do it for you, email tomasomally@gmail.com from the address you signed up with.
